Technology
I can identify key technological advancements that helped in making our knowledge of space expand. My research will show the past, but I will also predict what future advancements may stretch our limits even more.

Narrative- When I was working on this proficiency, I manly focused on the stuff the allowed us to move farther into space. The problem was I couldn't find the right information and pictures that would go good with the information. The telescope is probably the most important thing in this video because it helped us discover planets and lead to the Hubble. The Hubble is the second most important because it can see farther then we can travel into space and discover many things. Then finally the space shuttle so we can get living things in to space and see how it impacts the human body. Hopefully someday the technology will help us find another planet with human life.

Narrative- During creating this animoto it was hard to find the right pictures because I had to make sure it was the right type of galaxy or people would have got the wrong idea of what the galaxy looked like. After I found the right pictures and the right information to go along with it, I had to check the animoto for grammar or spelling errors. Finally I created the animoto and posted it on my blog.Galaxies
I can analyze galaxies and the differences between galaxies. I will compare the Milky Way Galaxy to other types of galaxies.

Comets, Asteroids, Meteors and Moons
I can analyze the differences between comets, asteroids, meteors and moons. I will research orbits and discuss differences of what we see from the Earth’s surface (phases). I will analyze the effect the moon’s orbit has on our planet. I will predict what would happen if Earth had a 2nd moon or the distance to the moon was increased or decreased.
Narrative- When I was working on this proficiency I notice that there was a lot in common between all the objects. Most of them had some kind of rock in it. The other thing is that all of them can fall in orbit around something with gravitational pull. But thing I had trouble with was trying to find enough information on each one of these. That is my narrative to this proficiency.

Constellations
I can research the history of constellations. My research will delve into the stories and the myths associated with each constellation. I will create my own constellation either changing the story of a real constellation or creating one on my own.

Narrative- This was my favorite proficiency to work on. It was fun to be creative a constellation. The thing that was hard to do was get my prezi on the blog. Other then that it was really easy. I found the information for this proficiency I only had to look at two good cites. Then the pictures that I found went really good with paragraph.

Solar System
I can analyze the origins of our solar system. Starting with the sun, my research will emphasize how our solar system formed, the differences between inner planets and outer planets, and analyze the future of our sun and the solar system.
Our Solar System on Prezi
Narrative- During this proficiency it was really easy to find ancient theories because I searched ancient theories and it gave me a page of theories. Most of them were really easy to understand. Then I already knew a little about present day theories, but there a little harder to understand. So I had to find the right cite to explain it so I could understand it. Those are two things I experienced from this proficiency. Citations- "Origins of the Universe: Theories of How the Cosmos Began." Suite101.com: Online Magazine and Writers' Network. N.p., n.d. Narrative- When working on this proficiency it was really hard to find the correct information on how the solar system formed. I got help from a classmate. He gave me the right site to go to and I found all the correct information I needed. Other then that it was easy and I got to state my opinion in what I think is going to happen to our solar system. That is what went on during this proficiency.

Universe
I can effectively explain the different theories of the universe. I will discuss theories starting from Ancient Greece through the theories discussed in present day. I will analyze all theories and make a judgment based on my research on which is most valid.

Theories of the Universe
Many billion light years ago there was something that created the universe. Nobody knows for sure how it was created but there are many theories. Some of them make sense but other sound impossible. As technology becomes more advanced, so do the theories.
In ancient times they had very little technology. Even though they didn't have advanced technology like we do today, they still made up theories. Some of them seem like they were made up by little kids because they involve giants and eggs but they were created before the telescope was. One of them comes from ancient China. The theory was that there was a big black egg. Then it hatched and created the universe. Another one that was that there was a giant deity that puked out the sun, moon, and stars. If you don’t know what a deity is, it's a supernatural being worshipped as a controlling some part of the universe. Those are only two of the many ancient theories of the universe. Almost every ancient country had a different theory but today they are more scientific theories.
Today there is only about two that are the most scientifically correct. There's the String theory and the Big Bang theory. But the one that is the most popular is the Big Bang theory. It states that there was a black hole about 13.7 billion years ago. When the hole started to expand it exploded. Then all the matter spread out, and created galaxies, stars, planets, moons, and all the other stuff in the universe. That is what the most popular and scientifically correct theory is.
Out of all my research I believe that the Big Bang theory is the one that is the most possible theory. Do I think it’s true? No, because in ancient times their theories were wrong, so I believe that the present days ones are also wrong. As the technology becomes more advanced they will created better and more possible theories.
So overall the best theory so far is the Big Bang. I don't think its correct because the theories have changed so much over the years that there will always be new one that sound better and more possible. If I had to choose one it would be the Big Bang. Those are theories from ancient times all the way to present day.
