Sam and the Perfect World
Green as far as the eye can see, of nothing but peace and harmony. A young boy dreams about this coming true everyday of his life. Animals wondering worrying about nothing because the world is perfect and there is no danger. That’s what David Lenz was trying to get people to think about when he painted “Sam and the Perfect World”. To make this painting he used oil on linen. The message was so strong and it was so well painted that he won the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition in 2006. That is what David Lenz was going for on the painting of “Sam and the Perfect World”.
