Walking Tacos

There once was a taco that wanted to walk. He tried to make his legs out of Doritos. Everyday he practice walking, but every time the result was the same he fell and broke all four of his legs. Then one day he was listening to the song Remember The Name and got pumped up. He started building new legs out of lettuce, cheese, and Doritos. This time they were stronger then ever. He stood up and started to walk. He was the first taco to ever walk. Jim-the walking taco- was walking around and he got to far from home. Along came the great big giant, who was hungry. So he picked up Jim and ate him. That was the very end of Jim the walking taco.

What makes my life significant

The thing that makes my life significant are the people around me. They're the people that put good and bad things in my life. The people that make my life really significant are my parents. They do that by supplying me with the stuff that I need to be successful in life and teach me right from wrong. After them it would be my two brothers and sister. My older brother helps me with my math homework that makes my life significant because I learn it instead of getting a bad grade on it and still nor knowing it. Then it's my friends because they give me people to hang out with when I need to have an adventure. Those are the people in my life that make it significant. One of the things that makes it significant is my laptop. It does by helping me in school and giving me away to communicate with my friends when we aren't hanging out. That is what makes my life significant.

Joe Mauer

Imagine being the best catcher in the MLB and one of the best batters with a batting average of 0.364. He’s not he best home run hitters but he still gets on base. That’s Joe Mauer starting point for the Minnesota Twins was when they drafted him in 2001. Now Joe Mauer is a hitting machine, a catcher with a strong arm, and a great teammate.
If you watch baseball games on TV or Sports Center you will agree that Joe Mauer is the best catcher in the MLB. With an arm that’s so strong that he can throw from home plate all the way to 2nd base on his knees. He helps the pitchers by giving them the right pitch like a fastball or a curveball and the right spot to pitch the ball. That’s why Joe Mauer is the best catcher on the field in the MLB.
Joe is one of the best hitters in Major League Baseball because his dad made him a machine to help him improve his skills when he had nobody to practice with and that made him a better hitter. Since he was a kid he could hit the ball better than anybody on his little league team, and now with a batting average of .364 which is the 7th best in the MLB. He is now the best hitter on his major league team. That helps the Minnesota twins because they can depend on him to get on base when they need to score in order to win a ball game. Those are most of the reasons that makes Joe Mauer is one of the best hitters in the MLB.
Minnesota is proud to have Joe Mauer on the team because he brings people to games and he helps win ball games. If you like Major League Baseball you would know they like him because they just extended his contract for eight years. That is why Joe Mauer is one of the best players in Major League Baseball and why the Minnesota Twin like him so much.

Was Tarzan a Three Bandage Man?

When you see a boxer on TV and they have bandages on all over what do you think? In the story Was Tarzan a Three Bandage Man by Bill Cosby they talk about how some famous do thing for show or just to look cool. For example they said that Jackie Robinson walked like a pigeon. People think that he did that just to look cool. Stories like this one are very easy to relate things to.
Throughout this story I could relate this story to myself. When they said that he needed to read more books and I related that to myself because I don’t read a lot and I should read more. The other thing I could relate to is that they like to joke around with each other and I can relate to that because I like to joke around with my friends too. These are all the things that I could relate to.
Once I finished the story I could relate so many things to the world. Since they talk about famous people walk to look cool and the world could relate to that because a lot of famous people care about how they walk looks like. Then there is when they talk about how people do things to make them look tougher and that people that put on bandages to make it look like they got hurt. People do that in real life too. Those are all the thing that I could related from world to this text.
Seeing that there are probably things in that story that you could relate to other text. While there are many things other people could relate to themselves. There were only two things that I could relate too.
